Lorry crash closes A458 in Shropshire
The A458 was closed in Shropshire this evening after an accident involving a car and a lorry.
The road was closed in both directions between the A5 near Shrewsbury and the A483, close to the Welsh Border.
Emergency services were at the scene.
Highways England said the road was closed in both directions and drivers were advised to follow diversion signs.
Jamie Arrowsmith, a spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance service said they were called to an accident on the A458 four miles outside of Welshpool at 2.58pm. One ambulance attended but there were no injuries.
