Van crashes off road near Shrewsbury
A lorry crashed off the road in an early morning accident near Shrewsbury this morning.
The HGV left the A488 at Cruckmeole and came to rest in a field.
Fire crews from Minsterley and Shrewsbury were called to the scene at 7.30am where they made the area safe.
A spokeswoman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said no persons were trapped in the accident.
West Midlands Ambulance service said it was called to the A488 at Crookton Bridge.
On arrival, the driver and passenger were out of vehicle. Both had minor injuries and were discharged on scene.
The area was cleared just after 8am.
