Traffic to flow two ways for festival
A one way street will temporarily be made two-way to accommodate a Gin Festival being held at a popular Shrewsbury pub.
The festival takes place at The Armoury in the heart of the town between 4pm-10pm today and Victoria Avenue will be closed to traffic.
But due to concerns raised about the the possible number of drivers requiring access to The Swimming Centre it has been decided to make Priory Rd a temporary two way street. Various swimming clubs have been informed of the change. Emergency vehicle access will be available to both Priory Rd and Victoria Avenue.
