Car fire burst in to flames on A5 at Shrewsbury
Traffic was disrupted when a 4x4 burst in to flames on the A5 near Shrewsbury today.
Firefighters were called to the dual carriageway between Weeping Cross and Emstrey Island at 9.19am.
Three fire engines from Shrewsbury and Wellington were sent to the scene and found the 4x4 well alight.
The police were also present, along with an operations officer as the firefighters brought the flames under control.
