Made in remembrance of those who died in war, the knitted poppies are the work of the women of a small village near Shrewsbury.

Members of Loppington Flower Club spent hundreds of hours making the poppies and then painstakingly putting them together to create one long fall.

The British Legion Poppy Fall comprises of 1,966 hand knitted poppies and is currently being exhibited in the FBC Manby Bowdler Gallery on the third floor of the theatre and has been admired by theatre staff and audiences alike since its installation earlier this month.

The unique design will be on display until after Remembrance Sunday.
