New batch of roadworks start in Shrewsbury
Roadworks were set to take place in a number of areas in Shrewsbury today.
Traffic delays are likely in Woodfield Road and the A49 as the work begins.
Severn Trent Water was set to complete road works in Woodfield Road today to install an external meter underground.
Meanwhile Highways England is carrying out work on the A49 which will be completed tomorrow.
There will be temporary multi-way traffic signals in place while the work is carried out.
Work was also set to start in Battlefield Way today, and last until tomorrow.
Openreach will be carrying out the work.
