More roadworks to begin in Shrewsbury

Traffic delays are likely as the work takes place.

Severn Trent Water is due to begin work today in Cross Houses from the Atcham junction to Cound junction.

Traffic control will be directing cars until the work finishes tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Openreach is due to begin work today in Hanwood on the A488.

Stop/go boards will be in use while the work is carried out.

Work is due to begin today in St Michael's Street, Shrewsbury, and will continue until Saturday.

There will be multi-way signals in place while Openreach completes the work.

Multi-way traffic signals will also be in place in Oteley Road starting today until Friday.
