Leaves on line cause rail disruption
Trains between Shrewsbury and Chester were running slowly yesterday morning (WEDS) after a large branch fell from a tree on to the track.
Arriva Trains Wales apologised to customers after the branch blocked the line between Shrewsbury and Gobowen.
Trains were reported to be running 10 minutes slower while the branch was removed to the embankment.
The disruption lasted for two hours while engineers dealt with the situation. However the service was expected to be back to normal by midday.
