Shrewsbury road closed as man helped down from window ledge
A main road into Shrewsbury was closed this morning after fears for the safety of a man on a window ledge.

Frankwell was temporarily closed at 8am while police and paramedics brought the man to safety.
A spokeswoman for West Mercia Police said: "At 7.55am this morning police received a report of concern for a man on a window ledge in Frankwell.
"The man has now been brought to safety.
"The road was closed for a short time to allow emergency services to deal with the incident."
In an earlier incident, a woman was rescued from the River Severn in Shrewsbury at around 4am.
