Travellers move to site by Shrewsbury homes
Residents living on a housing estate in Shrewsbury woke to find travellers had moved on to a field near their properties.
A number of travellers moved on to land at Bowbrook Meadows overnight on Wednesday, bringing with them several caravans and cars.
The development was built by Bovis Homes, which it is understood still owns the land.
A spokesperson for the house builders said: "The land is jointly owned by Bovis Homes and Barratt Homes, and we are working with the local authorities with a view to resolving this situation as soon as is practical.”
