Reflecting on a soggy Shropshire Christmas
As the fog lifted, Shrewsbury-based photographer Lee Roberts captured this stark image of trees reflected in the flood waters of the River Severn.
Water levels across the county are now dropping after heavy rain brought flooding over the Christmas period to low lying areas.
Flood alerts, which had been placed on the Severn Vyrnwy Confluence by the Environment Agency, have now been lifted.
Fields on the Shrewsbury flood plain close to Crew Green and Melverley were saturated with water and the view from the Royal Hill Pub at Edgerley was of water as far as the eye could see, as the River Severn had burst its banks.
