New Shrewsbury day care centre opens its doors
A new adult day care centre has officially open its doors to guests this month with Shrewsbury Town’s Club Captain, Mat Sadler cutting the ribbon.
Willow Lodge is a joint venture between two care organisations with many years experience.
Situated in the heart of Shrewsbury and serving the surrounding areas, Willow Lodge will provide warm, safe and homely surroundings where guests can enjoy freshly cooked meals, make friends, relax and join in activities for a fun and social experience.
Operations and care director, Sarah Ritchie has worked in the care sector for 22 years and already owns one successful Shrewsbury based care company. She is passionate about her new venture and creating a new community for people to feel a part of.
She said: "We aim to be Shropshire’s go to provider and to be the community’s first choice to provide a holistic experience and sense of belonging for guests and for those close to them.
"Willow Lodge, formerly a day nursery has undergone a complete transformation of its premises. We have put a lot care and thought into making sure it has great facilities for our guests. These include; a relaxing comfortable lounge, well equipped activities area and spacious dining room, where our guests will be served a delicious home cooked lunch and refreshments. We also have a luxury shower room and hairdressing facilities for our guests use. Willow Lodge has a spacious patio area for use during warmer days.
