'Fix Me': Message to Shropshire highways team after drain collapse
A collapsed drain on a Shropshire road has led to one frustrated motorist painting 'Fix Me' in large letters on the highway.
The drain, which spans the Valeswood to Little Ness lane at Nesscliffe, was brought to the attention of local councillor Ed Potter who reported it to Shropshire Council's highways team.
Someone had decided to send their own message to the council and had written 'Fix Me' on the road in black paint.
A council spokesperson said: “This has now been reported to our highways team and we will investigate and arrange repairs as necessary.
“If you’ve noticed a pothole or surface issue (including flooding) on a road or footpath, you can report it online at www.shropshire.gov.uk/roads-and-highways/report-a-fault-or-concern"
