Teenager taken to hospital after crash near Shrewsbury
A teenage boy was taken to hospital after the van he was driving crashed into a tree near Shrewsbury today.
Fire and ambulance crews were called to the collision in Welshpool Road, Shelton, just before 3.50pm.
Firefighters had to free the teenager from the vehicle and he was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be serious.
