Shrewsbury garage gutted by fire
A garage was consumed by fire in the early hours of today.
The fire at a property off Whitchurch Road, Shrewsbury, was reported at about 3.30am.
Firefighters and police attended soon after.
The fire crews used hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire, before using a thermal imaging camera to check there were remaining hotspots.
A statement from West Mercia Police said: "Police are currently working with fire investigators to establish the cause of the fire."
