Little Bags of Kindness has only been operating since late 2020 and has already had months of success helping those in need across Shropshire.

Founders Ruth Pemberton, Sophie Tindall and Sasha Ford have completed many successful projects including delivering more than 1,000 packed lunches in October; donating 500 gift bags to Shropshire Refuge at Christmas; supported the Shropshire Memory Team in collecting 100 dementia blankets for patients.

Sophie said: "We started with the whole Marcus Rashford campaign last year and it's just built up from there.

"It's just us three doing it in our spare time when we can, the other two are juggling children as well, so we've managed to do a lot. It's been incredibly rewarding.

"We have really been able to get to those that need help by working with social workers and occupational therapists.

"We are a proud team."

The charity works with businesses and organisations to spread kindness to those who need it, whether that's in the form of a gift to mothers on the neonatal unit at Shrewsbury hospital or scarves and blankets to homeless people at Shrewsbury Ark.

Little Bags of Kindness is launching a new campaign in the coming weeks, and will announce further details soon.
