The artwork to honour 100 years of the Royal British Legion

Agrovista Amenity created an impressive piece of art on the lawn in the Quarry in Shrewsbury to mark the milestone.

The design was created by Ed Smith and Matt Thaw of Agrovista and Robert Smith to celebrate 100 years of the Royal British Legion supporting the Armed Forces community. Shrewsbury Town Council commissioned the work.

The artwork can be seen from the air

Agrovista Amenity supplies agronomic consumables and equipment for turf and sports pitches, with this design being created using equipment and specialist paint for sports line marking.

Landscape Team Manager Ed said: “I’m really proud to have helped produce a visual tribute to celebrate the rich history of the Royal British Legion and the difference they have made in the Armed Forces Community.”

“We’ve worked with the council on previous projects similar to this, and once again they were very receptive to the idea. The RBL has always been supported by a network of volunteers, members, fundraisers, and corporate partners who share a passion for bringing people together to support.”
