Casualty treated after car overturns in Shrewsbury

One person was injured when a car overturned in Shrewsbury.

The accident happened on the town's Roman Road at about 7.50am on Saturday.

Emergency services went to the scene and one person was treated by paramedics. It is not know how serious their injuries were.

Firefighters assisted police to make the overturned vehicle safe.

Just before 10am another car was involved in a crash at Astley on the edge of Shrewsbury.

Firefighters made the vehicle safe while ambulance staff cared for the casualties.
