Power cut in Shrewsbury after cable incident
Sixty five homes in the Crowmere Road area of Shrewsbury had their electricity supply cut for safety reasons after a street lighting cable was damaged.

Western Power Distribution said their customers had their power cut for just over half an hour on Thursday (March 24).
A spokesperson said: "A third party struck a street lighting cable and 65 customers had their supply cut off from 3.15pm to 3.50pm for safety reasons."
The incident had been reported to have happened at 12.36pm.
