A vehicle - believed to be a tractor trailer - fell onto its side at around 10am, causing tailbacks around one of the main arteries to and from the town.

West Mercia Police tweeted there was no access via the A5112 or A5124 and traffic on other routes around the island was slow. Police advised motorists to avoid the area.

By 11.30am they had tweeted the road is now fully open. It is not known if any injuries were suffered.
