Jailed: Shrewsbury burglar stole jewellery worth £3,200 from Clogau shop

A burglar who stole watches worth £3,200 from a Shrewsbury town centre jewellery shop has been jailed.

Paul Martin, aged 44, targeted Clogau, at the bottom of Pride Hill, on May 21 this year.

He stole seven watches from the shop, which specialises in Welsh gold and opened in November last year.

Martin, of no fixed abode but based in Shrewsbury, pleaded guilty to one charge of burglary at Kidderminster Magistrates Court.

He was jailed for 26 weeks.
