Casualties treated after three-vehicle Shrewsbury A49 crash

A number of casualties needed treatment from medics after a three-vehicle-accident on the A49 near Shrewsbury.

An ambulance and fire crew attended the collision, which happened between the Sundorne Roundabout and the Battlefield Roundabout on the edge of Shrewsbury at around 3pm on Friday.

Fire crews made the vehicles - a van and two cars - safe.

Several casualties suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
