Firefighters called after Shrewsbury crash leaves one person injured
One person was injured in a crash in Shrewsbury on Saturday morning.
Emergency services responded to 999 calls just before 11am to Monkmoor Road.
There were reports that someone was trapped but when the fire crew from Shrewsbury fire station arrived they found the person had been released. Firefighters made the vehicle safe and the casualty was cared for by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
It is not known how serious the injuries were.
