Raging shed fire stopped from spreading to homes in Shrewsbury
Firefighters stopped a raging shed fire from spreading to houses in Shrewsbury.
The fire broke out at about 7.45pm in Wendsley Road, Harlescott on Wednesday.
Flames could be seen from neighbouring streets with a video showing smoke pouring out as the fire raged.
Two fire crews from the town were quickly on scene and were able to bring the fire under control by 8.30pm.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire involved a shed and conifer hedge. Firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
