Police called to scene of one-car crash between Shrewsbury and Shawbury
Roads were closed after a one-car crash off the A53 near Shrewsbury.
West Mercia Police officers were called to reports of a crash just off the A53 between Shrewsbury and Shawbury at 12.06pm today, involving one vehicle with 'persons trapped'.
West Midlands Ambulance Service, as well as the Midlands Air Ambulance and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, also attended.
An unclassified road leading off the A53 near to Shawbury Heath was closed. Drivers were urged to find an alternative route.
