Shrewsbury firefighters rescue five people stuck in lift at 3am
Five people needed help from the fire service after becoming locked in a lift in the early hours.
The incident took place at Barn Pool Crescent, on the site of the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, at around 3.10am on Sunday.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service sent one crew to deal with the situation from its Shrewsbury base.
An update from the service said that five people had been released from the lift and that the crew had finished at the scene at around 4am.
