Emergency services rush to rescue man from river in Shrewsbury
Fire crews scrambled to English Bridge in Shrewsbury to rescue a man from the river.
Emergency services, including paramedics and police, were called at about 3am on Sunday.
A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue said: "This incident involved one male rescued from river by fire service swift water rescue technicians. Casualty left in care of ambulance and police."
Three fire engines including the incident command unit and the water rescue unit attended from Baschurch and Shrewsbury.
