Firefighters rush to tackle car on fire in field near Shrewsbury
Crews rushed to tackle a car on fire in a field on the outskirts of Shrewsbury.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue received the report of a car fire at around 10.30pm on Monday.
One fire engine was mobilised from Shrewsbury fire station to the scene off Huffley Lane near Broadoak.
The crew found the vehicle fully ablaze, and used winches and jets to tackle the fire.
The car was completely destroyed by the fire.
