Bird of prey finds itself trapped in tree in Shrewsbury
Firefighters were unable to help when a householder turned to the service after a bird of prey got stuck in a tree.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service sent a crew to Whitemere Road, Shrewsbury, when the call for help came in just after 2pm on Wednesday.
But a spokesperson said: "Fire service unable to rescue due to location and size of tree. Advice given to owner for alternative agencies."
Cuan Wildlife at Much Wenlock said it did not believe it was involved in helping the bird.
