Shrewsbury cannabis dealer, 37, avoids jail

A cannabis dealer caught with 49 grammes of the drug in Shrewsbury has been spared jail.

Andrew Dulson, 37, of Oakfield Drive, Shrewsbury, was caught on October 4 last year with 14 bags of cannabis as well as a set of digital scales and a mobile phone, Shrewsbury Crown Court heard on Tuesday.

Judge Peter Barrie was told the Dulson, a "a heavy cannabis user", was spotted by police in Mount Pleasant Road in Shrewsbury where he was searched and the Class B drugs on 3.5 gramme bags were found.
