The street art, which shows a little girl crouching down, dressed in a hoodie and Nike trainers, appeared on the entrance to Blacks, near Shrewsbury Market Hall, this weekend.

Some think this is the work of Banksy, whose art is currently on display at the Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery as part of the special exhibition for the 2023 Shrewsbury Arts Trail.

But seven-year-old art fan Beatrice Day and her mum Sandra Smith have said the work can actually be attributed to the allusive Birmingham-based artist Disney b.32.

Sandra said: "Last year there was a big uproar over the mural at the back of the BT building in Town Walls and everyone thought it was Banksy and it went on for ages.

"My daughter is home educated, she loves Banksy and she got quite excited, so we went down there."
