Major town road set for lengthy closures for resurfacing work
One of Shrewsbury's busiest roads will be closed while resurfacing work takes place.
Monkmoor Road in Shrewsbury is to be resurfaced from July 31, through to August 25.
The work is being carried out by Shropshire Council as part of its annual resurfacing programme, and will take place under a road closure from 9.30am to 4pm each day – and from 8am to 5pm on Sundays – with a signed diversion route in place.
The council said that the work will be carried out in phases.
