Firefighters called to Shrewsbury following reports of a fire involving one tonne of wheat
Firefighters have been called to reports of a fire at a grain store in Shrewsbury.
Crews from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Montford Bridge, Shrewsbury at around 5pm today to reports of a fire.
Upon arrival, crews found the fire involved one tonne of smouldering wheat in a grain store.
Two fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and crews used two hose reel jets, two triple extension ladders and one thermal image camera to dampen down.
