Casualty given first aid after Shrewsbury crash involving motorcycle and van

A person was given oxygen treatment and first aid after a crash in Shrewsbury involving a motorcycle and a van today.

West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the incident.

The collision happened at Abbey Foregate in Shrewsbury, with emergency services called at 3.24pm.

One fire crew from Hodnet attended with Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service saying its officers had provided oxygen and first aid at the scene while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

An update said that the casualty had been left in the care of the ambulance service.
