Shrewsbury road to be shut at level crossing for Network Rail works
A busy road in Shrewsbury is to be closed to traffic overnight on Wednesday.
Traffic will be prohibited from using Harlescott Lane in the northwest of the town from 10pm on September 6 to 4am on September 7.
The traffic order is being made to allow Network Rail to to signal the telecoms testing on the rail line that crosses the road at the level crossing.
Traffic will be diverted along Harlescott Lane, Battlefield Road, the A5124 and Battlefield Way.
