Travellers leave Shrewsbury park and ride after staying past eviction deadline
Travellers have left a park and ride site, Shropshire Council has confirmed.
The group, who pitched up at Meole Brace Park and Ride in Shrewsbury last Tuesday, were still there with six caravans on Saturday despite being served with an eviction notice, ordering them away by 3pm on Friday.
However, the council has confirmed they have left. It is understood park and ride services were unaffected, and a small amount of rubbish has been left behind.
