Malicious call sees firefighters rush to retail park
A "false and malicious" alarm saw firefighters called out to a Shrewsbury retail park this evening.
Firefighters rushed to Dunelm on Sundorne retail park at around 5.50pm on Monday after receiving a report of a property fire.
Two fire engines were immediately dispatched to the scene from Shrewsbury station alongside an operations officer.
Upon arrival, crews found the report to have been "false and malicious".
The incident was declared stopped at 6.08pm.
