Fire service tackles blazing rubbish in Shrewsbury's Quarry park
Firefighters were called to tackle a pile of blazing rubbish in Shrewsbury's Quarry park.
The fire was reported to Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service at around 8pm on Tuesday.
Resident Chris Ramsell said the fire was next to The Dingle.
"The Quarry security soon arrived, shortly followed by a single fire engine," he said.
Fire crews extinguished the fire with buckets of water and fire extinguishers.
