Buckets of water used to put out bin fire in Shrewsbury town centre

Buckets of water were used to put out a bin fire in a busy town centre.

The incident took place on Shrewsbury's Pride Hill.

The incident took place on Pride Hill in Shrewsbury at around 1.27pm on Wednesday.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said that one crew had attended the scene, and had used buckets of water to put out the blaze.

They were finished at the scene at around 1.38pm.
