Nearly 60 properties hit by power cut in Shrewsbury
Nearly 60 properties in Shrewsbury were left without power this afternoon.
The National Grid website reported at 1.36pm that 59 properties in SY1 suffered from a power cut.
Engineers isolated the local supply while they worked on the issue.
The company said it was a 'low voltage' (LV) incident which tend to be smaller and more localised.
It was resolved by about 4.45pm.
