Train services between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton cancelled amid flooding at Wellington station
Train services between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton have been cancelled for the rest of the day after flooding on the line.

West Midlands Railway said road transport had been ordered to shuttle passengers between these stations in both directions, after heavy rain overnight left the track at Wellington station under water.
Posting on X, West Midlands Railway wrote: "Flooding between Shrewsbury & Wolverhampton.
"Services running between these stations will be cancelled until further notice.
"Road transport has been ordered to shuttle between these stations in both directions."
Disruption is expected until the end of Wednesday this week, National Rail said.
"Flooding between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised. This is expected until the end of the day Wednesday, October 2."
On X, formerly Twitter, Wellington Station posted a photo of the tracks under water.
There was more disruption due to a tree blocking the line between Snow Hill and Dorridge, in the Solihull area, this morning.
Buses were ordered to shuttle passengers between Snow Hill and Dorridge, and Dorridge and Stratford-Upon-Avon.
