Rebecca Taylor of Gardeners Place, had been in the passenger seat with her boyfriend at the time of the collision on February 19, last year.

But Shrewsbury Crown Court heard on Friday (November 1) that as the registered keeper of the vehicle when she received a notice of intended prosecution she took the wrap.

Ms Rosemary Proctor, prosecuting, told the court that the car crash, which happened in Shropshire, took place at 10.30am. She said a woman had been hit by a white Renault car from behind.

“She looked in the rear view mirror and saw a male in the driver's seat and a female passenger in the car,” she said.
