Storm tears down part of Shrewsbury house

High winds from Storm Eowyn have damaged a Shrewsbury house.

Gaz Brotherton who snapped the damage said a number of fire engines were in attendance.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to St Julians Crescent in the town at around 1.15pm following reports of the damage.

A spokesperson said: "Fire service and a council structural engineer were in attendance to assess. Safety zones were established. 

"The incident was left with a building control officer with a structural engineer to attend."
