The Priory School in Shrewsbury launched its alumni association in 2019, and hopes to strengthen ties with ex-students.

Sandra Cooper, community and teaching school manager, said: "We are trying to contact past students of The Priory School to make them aware of The Priory School Alumni Association. At this difficult time we would like to give them an opportunity to keep in touch with school.

"The school launched the alumni association to connect with former students in April 2019. The purpose of introducing an alumni to the school is to develop and strengthen ties between the school and former students.

"The alumni is free to join and offers students regular newsletters, opportunities to engage with school events and be part of our school community. The alumni can also help to inspire the next generation by sharing their life experiences and career paths via virtual presentations to students, pen portraits and memory lane experiences which are available on the website.

"If you are a past student of The Priory School we would be delighted to hear from you."
