County parents and pupils find out if they have secured first choice secondary school
Parents and pupils across the county have been finding out if they secured their first choice secondary school for September.

With a long mining history, Pontesbury is one of the largest villages in Shropshire and can boast a wide range of local services including independent local shops selling local produce. Author Mary Webb once called Pontesbury home, with the village's secondary school taking her name. Nearby is Earls Hill which was Shropshire Wildlife Trust's first nature reserve in 1964.
