Hundreds join Pontesbury Potter as popular Severn Hospice event marks 30th anniversary
Six hundred walkers and runners pulled on their boots for a Severn Hospice fundraiser that marked its 30th anniversary.

With a long mining history, Pontesbury is one of the largest villages in Shropshire and can boast a wide range of local services including independent local shops selling local produce. Author Mary Webb once called Pontesbury home, with the village's secondary school taking her name. Nearby is Earls Hill which was Shropshire Wildlife Trust's first nature reserve in 1964.
