Car ends up in hedge after medical emergency near Shrewsbury
A car ended up in a hedge after the driver is thought to have had a medical episode at the wheel.
The crash happened on the A488 at Pontesford, near Pontesbury, on Thursday morning.
Emergency services responded to 999 calls at 11.20am saying a person was trapped.
Fire crews worked with ambulance staff to help the man from the car.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said he was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
