The Cosford Military Wives Choir is among 70 choirs across the UK featuring military women, set up more than 12 years ago.

The Cosford group meet on a Tuesday from 7pm to 9.30pm at the Cosford Chaplaincy centre.

Over the years they have performed at numerous engagements and have a number of performances planned for 2025 - but the group is now seeking a new musical director.

A statement for the group said: "If you believe that you are a skilled and inspiring teacher, who is committed to using the power of music to bring women in the military community together to sing, share and support each other, then we would like to hear from you!

"If you’re not this person, please share this post far and wide so that we can find the right person to help our choir grow and develop musically."
