Lodges named best in Britain

The Black Hall Lodges at Knighton has won the coveted, best UK small park award from holiday company Hoseasons and the best escape destination in the Heart of England.

It was created when Andrew and Sharon Beavan decided to diversity on their family farm 15 years ago. They still run the farm, which is now fully organic.

Black Hall, sitting just a short walk from the spectacular Offa's Dyke, in nestled in the border countryside and includes lodges with hot tubs, an indoor pool, sauna and spa and a games room.

Daughters, Zoe and Sadie have joined the business.

"The organic farm is very much still in full swing and we are also building seven more lodges which are due to open December 29 which will bring us to 19 lodges," Zoe said.

The awards were made at a Gala Evening at the five-star Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, in

South Wales.

The Hoseasons Diamond Awards are presented to Hoseasons locations that have achieved the highest scores in independent customer

satisfaction surveys.
