Shropshire crews attend tractor and chimney fires

Shropshire firefighters have been tackling a log burner chimney blaze.

A crew from Oswestry attended an address in nearby Sweeney at about 5.05pm on Wednesday.

They used chimney rods and a specialist camera to tackle the fire and departed at 5.52pm.

Other crews attended a tractor fire on the A49 at Craven Arms after being called to the scene shortly before 3.20am. Engines from the town and from Church Stretton went along with an operations officer, but the fire was out on arrival.

The firefighters carried checked over the vehicle before departing at 1.30pm.
