Car collides with electricity pole
Emergency services were called out this evening after a car collided with an electricity pole.
The collision happened this evening in Wall Bank, Wall Under Haywood in Church Stretton, at about 7pm.
A spokeswoman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the crash involved a small vehicle, thought to have swerved into the electricity pole to avoid an oncoming vehicle.
Nobody was trapped as a result of the incident. However the condition of those involved is unknown at this stage.
West Mercia Police, the ambulance service and one crew from Church Stretton attended, who called Western Power to make sure the pole was safe.
Firefighters used small gear at the scene.
